The 7th China India Forum was hosted on 26th and 27th October 2018 in Hyatt Regency, Pune, Maharashtra. The Event was a Huge Success. It was highly appreciated by one and all.

The main ceremony began with lighting of lamp and then the National Anthem of both countries. Hon. Tourism Minister Shri. Jaykumar Rawal, inaugurated the Forum. President of Jilin Province People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.), Former Vice Secretary General of China State Council and Ms. Lin Yi, Vice President of CPAFFC
After Inaugurating the forum, Mr. Rajiv Podar Managing Director of Podar Enterprise & Chairman International Business Linkage Forum and Ms. Lin Yi, Vice President, CPAFFC welcomed the delegates.
Ms. Lin Yi, Vice President of CPAFFC said in her speech that the leaders of China and India have frequently and actively interacted, we should see the great potential and bright prospects of close cooperation between the two countries. She believes that as long as China and India are open-minded, embracing each other, and creating win-win situations, they will surely bring benefits to the people of both countries and contribute to building a stable and prosperous Asia as well as world peace and development.

Mr. Li Baijun, Hon. Economic & Commercial Councilor, Embassy of China In India pointed out that this China-India Forum is the first large-scale bilateral event held in India after President Xi Jinping and Premier Modi met in Wuhan. The theme is closely linked to the development of the times and is a milestone. The 21st century is the Asian century. Only when China and India cooperate with each other can we truly achieve this great goal. He said that there are now more than 1,700 Indian projects in China. Indian companies like Tata, Reliance and Infosys already have their roots firmly there. Chinese companies like Haier and Kingfa have also invested heavily here, including manufacturing in Maharashtra.
Hon. Central Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation also spoke through a video link. He emphasized on exports of rice, other agricultural products and medicines to bridge the trade deficit and enhance bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Jiang Zelin, Hon. President of Jilin Province People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.), Former Vice Secretary General of China State Council said that China-India friendly exchanges have existed since ancient times. Since entering the modern era, the two countries have developed rapidly and the cooperation momentum is good. Jilin Province and India have many complementary industries, and they hope to cooperate with India through local government exchanges and local enterprises. Cooperation will be always for mutual benefit.
Mr. Jaykumar Rawal, Hon. Minister for Tourism, Government of Maharashtra said that China and India are similar in many fields and without neighbour's support; India cannot truly achieve development and progress. He also pointed out that Indian culture is quite distinctive and the tourism industry is becoming more mature with hope that more Chinese companies will invest in India and Chinese tourists are welcome to visit this country.
Mr. Dinesh Joshi, President, IBLF thanked the VIPs, dignitaries and delegates for their presence and support.
